Recenlty I am under perfect load, not too light, that makes you feel boring, not too heavy that makes you feel stressed and nervous, just enough so that I am quite motivated to work and feel that I am learning new thing and accomplish my goal everyday.
It is such a good feeling that I haven't have for a long time. Last time I have this kind of feeling was when I started doing security work.

Technologies vs. Creativity
Nowadays, developers are overwhelmed by so many new software packages invented by others, and their own creativities have been killed. We start loosing focus from the real problems, and keep ourselves so busy learning and collecting other people's ideas.
In order to solve real problems, usually, hard work would be involved to analyze and understand the problem and do some REAL thinking and design to come up with a solution. Instead of doing that, we keep thinking maybe someone else has solved the problem for us, so we keep searching on the internet until we find an article or a web site that praises one or several package(s) with all the enthusiasm. It looks so fantastic to us too because it seems to solve all our problems.
We are so happy and feel accomplished something big, but actually, we are just allowing other to take control of our mind. We keep blindly following other's footsteps and completely forget that we might be able to come up with a better idea.
We give up the chance for our own creativity without even giving it a try.
It is called "Don't Invent the Wheel".

Submission, Assertiveness and Aggression
Submission and aggression are the two extremes that would bring more bad than good.
If assertiveness is the fulcrum in the center of the sea saw, submission and aggression are the two opposite extremes.
Submission is a behavior that
1) Hide your feelings
2) Don't know how to say no
3) Apologizing even when it is not your fault
4) Let others take advantage of you
5) Say what others want to hear
Aggression usually means all the opposite of above, with the hint that other people's feelings are ignored.
Both of them are not good behaviors because they would prevent you from getting what you want in your career.
Assertiveness is the mid-point where you
1) Show respect for other people
2) Be honest
3) Express your feelings
4) Learn to stand your ground
5) Be able to say no

Accompony Every Problem with a Solution
Don't be a complainer. When facing a problem, first thing to do, is to find a solution.
When you get into the habit of looking for solutions rather than presenting the problems to others and expecting them to fix them, you will soon find the outlook on work becomes more positive, and you start to see difficulties as challenges rather than problems. You may well find that this change in emphasis means you enjoy work far more and find it more motivating than before.

What to Do First
There are so many things out there I love to, or have to do, but what should I do first?
1) Study data model
2) Read the Emotional Intelligence books
3) Oracle performance training course
4) Security training course recap
I need to keep a diary everyday to remind myself the things on my to-do list. This should help me to prioritize and organize my life around the most important things.
